TierOneBerlin

Founding member. We are a group of early career researchers (ECRs) in Berlin-Brandenburg in connection with the Berlin University Alliance, Tierethiknetzwerk and Exeter University (UK). Our attitudes and relationships towards non-human animals influence how we approach many disciplines across all fields of knowledge (whether we are aware of it or not), yet avenues for truly cross-sectional dialogue without limitations of field or affiliation are sorely lacking. Thus, we decided to create such spaces of dialogue for non-human animals where perspectives, reflections and discussions from all disciplines are welcome. We believe that this simple step is the first one in a wider effort towards a more reflective and solidary understanding of non-human animals in all domains of knowledge and activism. Read more here.
